Hotline Established for Questions about Testing Lead in Water

The "Let's Be Sure It's Pure" hotline is a dedicated phone line designated by the DeKalb County School District.

The “Let’s Be Sure It’s Pure” hotline, a dedicated phone line designated by the DeKalb County School District to answer the community’s questions about the district’s Lead-In-Water Testing program, will launch next week.

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11, community members with questions about this proactive safety initiative may call the hotline at 678-676-1222 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Operators will answer general questions about the testing schedule, results of tests posted online, and the notification schedule for test results.

Specific questions on testing protocols or other technical matters will be referred to lead-testing experts who will directly contact callers with answers to their questions within 24 hours.

The district will continue to post testing results and other information about the Lead-In-Water testing program at www.dekalbschoolsga.org/lead-testing.
