Man Charged With Arson In Brookhaven Store Fire

The 29-year-old man was also charged on suspicion of obstruction and possession of drug-related objects.

BROOKHAVEN, GA — Police identified Fonzail Lorenzo Woods Jr., 29, as the man accused of setting a North Druid Hills Target store dressing room on fire Thursday.

Brookhaven Police said Friday Woods is charged on suspicion of first-degree arson, obstruction and possession of drug-related objects.

Officers responded around 1:15 p.m. Police said the call came in through Live911, a system that live-streams emergency calls directly to officers in the field.

After hearing the call, officers arrived on the scene four minutes later and were directed to the suspect's location, police said.

Woods was booked into the DeKalb County Jail.
