No Injuries In Brookhaven Shooting Involving Officers: Police
Police said the hotel patron threatened to shoot people in the head and later resisted officers.

BROOKHAVEN, GA — There were no injuries to Brookhaven officers or a suspect after a shooting Monday in the 1500 block of Lake Hearn Drive.
Brookhaven Police said officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a disorderly hotel patron making threats to "shoot people in the head." The person had been asked to leave the hotel by management, police said.
When officers arrived, they saw the man walking along Ashford Dunwoody Road. Police said he began resisting the officer, which led to an ineffective Taser deployment and the officer discharging his gun.

The man was taken into custody, and a gun believed to belong to the man was recovered, police said.
