Reality Star, Pal Of Kevin Durant, Killed At Chamblee Strip Mall

CHAMBLEE, GA -- Clifford Dixon, an ex-boyfriend of "Love & Hip-Hop" star Erica Mena and a close friend of NBA star Kevin Durant, was shot and killed outside a Chamblee strip mall early Thursday morning. Police said Dixon, 32, was shot at SL Lounge in the Little Saigon strip mall on Buford Highway around 1:15 am. Dixon was at the club to celebrate his birthday, according to an Instagram post.

According to TMZ, an apparent lone gunman opened fire in front of the club. Police do not know if Dixon himself was targeted. An incident report obtained by the media outlet said an officer was in his patrol unit outside the club when he saw a black male wearing all black with a black skull cap fire at the victim.

Dixon was was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he died. Chamblee police said Dixon had just arrived at the location when he was shot.
