Repaving Project 90 Percent Done, Brookhaven Says
Brookhaven says the street repaving project is 90 percent complete and on track to finish by the end of August.
BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Brookhaven's street repaving project is 90 percent complete, the city announced late Tuesday. Fifty-one roads (9.24 miles) have been retopped so far with more to go.
The city said June's 8 inches of rainfall, double the average, impacted several streets and delayed the paving and/or resurfacing for several days, but the project will stay on track.
