Roads to Close Due to TV Show Filming

Episode of 'Survivor's Remorse' will close main thoroughfares for most of Friday, Chamblee says.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Streets that lead in and out of Brookhaven will be closed from Friday morning to the end of business for filming of a TV show, the city of Chamblee said.

Production crews will be hard at work on an episode of "Survivors Remorse" at 5719 Peachtree Boulevard for most of the day.

The shoot will close Peachtree Boulevard (SR 141) and North Peachtree Road, Chamblee said in a news release.

"North Peachtree Road will be closed from Peachtree Boulevard to Clyde Drive, and the western curb lane of North Peachtree Road will be closed from Peachtree Boulevard north for 300 feet. Peachtree Boulevard will have intermittent traffic control measures in place. Police officers will be on hand to direct traffic in the area during the production," the city said.

"Survivors Remorse" is a Starz network show about a basketball player who moves his family to Atlanta. It is produced by NBA superstar Lebron James. The show is in its fourth season.

The roads will be open by 5 p.m. Friday, in time for rush hour, the city said.
