Watch it Live! Governmental Affairs Committee Discuss Brookhaven Cityhood Bill

The Georgia House of Representatives Governmental Affairs Committee will discuss the proposed City of Brookhaven live today (Tuesday, Jan. 24) at 2 p.m. at the Coverdale Legislative Office Building.

Interested viewers can watch it live on the House Legislative Network. The live link is only active when the committee is in session and can be accessed by clicking the governmental affairs committee link on the network's web page.

The committee is expected to only discuss the feasibility study during the meeting. No public testimony or action will be taken at the meeting.

According to Craig Foster, policy analyst for the House Governmental Affairs Committee, another meeting for public testimony will take place where residents and bill sponsors will have the opportunity to testify for or against the bill. The public testimony for the bill has not yet been scheduled.
