Here are a few things going on this weekend in and around the Brookhaven area:

1. Town Hall Meeting at Dunwoody Library - August 10th 10:30 am: Saturday. The Fabulous 40th Ga. Senate District of the DeKalb County GOP, which encompasses Dunwoody, Chamblee, Brookhaven and Doraville)Is hosting a non-partisan TOWN HALL MEETING at the Dunwoody Library on Saturday, August 10th at 10:30 am – 12:30 pm.
2. Sips n Strokes® Toco Hills - Kidz Choice - Dog and Cat: Saturday. Kidz choose between two fun paintings! Choose your own colors and decorate with puff paint, glitter, and jewels at the end of class.
3. Folk music. Singer/songwriter and guitarist Kathy Reed performs at 6 p.m., Thursday, at Heritage Sandy Springs. 
4. The Gipsy Kings. The concert is held at 8 p.m., Friday at Chastian Park Amphitheatre. 
5. SNL Comedian at The Punchline. “Saturday Night Live” cast member Jay Pharoah, known for impersonations of President Barack Obama and Denzel Washington, performs at The Punchline on Friday and Saturday.
