Atlanta's Best Hotels for 2017

ATLANTA, GA — Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta and the St. Regis Atlanta are the best hotels in Atlanta and among the best in the nation, according to new rankings from U.S. News and World Report. The magazine ranked 43 luxury hotels in Georgia for its new 2017 list, including 31 in the Atlanta area.

The rankings are determined by using opinions from travel experts and online guest reviews at TripAdvisor. U.S. News limits the list to luxury hotels, so don't be surprised when you can't find your roadside standards.

The top hotel in the nation is Chicago's The Langham, with Hawaii's Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at No. 2 and D.C.'s The Jefferson at No. 3. Georgia's top two resorts were on the coast: The Lodge at Sea Island and The Cloister at Sea Island.

In the Atlanta region, Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta is at the top, according to U.S. News, "with a full-service spa and family-friendly luxuries like kid-sized bathrobes, babysitting services and even bedtime cookies." The St. Regis Atlanta offers a prime Buckhead locations and amenities that include the 40,000-square-foot Pool Piazza.

Eight other Atlanta hotels were included in U.S. News "Best in Atlanta" list, including The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, Mandarin Oriental, InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, Loews Atlanta Hotel, Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina, Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel and the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead.
