In addition to food trucks, there will be three “Duckie Derby” rubber duck races down Little Nancy Creek beginning at 6:30 with prizes from Learning Express awarded to all participants ($5 entry fee/donation) and a “Fishing Derby” off the bridge where all fishers are guaranteed to “catch” a prize from Learning Express ($5 entry fee/donation). Everyone is welcome and we hope the neighborhood will come out to see the new bridge and support us for this biggest event of the year.
As a reminder, if you want to purchase food from the food trucks, the City is requiring that you now have to purchase a ticket in advance ($15/ticket includes full meal/drink and $3 donation to MWC). “Tickets” can be purchased on-line atwww.MountainWayCommon.org or www.LivableBuckhead.com.

Finally, keep your eyes open for the return of goats to MWC; rumor has it that they will be checking out the new bridge this weekend (as a reminder, don’t touch the fence).
