ATLANTA, GA — The high-end dining-turned luxury and lifestyle brand Nobu is making a big splash in Buckhead.
Nobu will open a 150-room hotel complete with an Atlanta iteration of the new aged Japanese restaurant as part of a Phipps Plaza expansion project due for completion this year. The expansion will also include a 90,000 square foot LifeTime Athletic “healthy living destination” and a 12-story office and co-working space.
Construction began on the project in 2018.

In addition to its 150 rooms and the namesake restaurant, Nobu Hotell will feature a rooftop pool and sunning deck, luxury spa facilities, and corporate conference space awash in the ultra-modern style and design that founders Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert DeNiro and Meir Teper have set as the standard for each property.
Trevor Horwell, Chief Executive Officer of Nobu Hotels said the partnership with Phipps Plaza operator, shopping mall group Simon, will leave a lasting imprint on the Buckhead area and on Atlanta.
