5 Family Members Found Dead At Cartersville Apartment Complex
Sheriff's deputies and GBI agents found five bodies at the Stonehaven Falls Apartments at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Foul play is not suspected in the deaths of five people found Sunday afternoon at the Stonehaven Falls Apartments in Cartersville. The deaths are being investigated by both the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, reports WBHF Community Radio.
Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton told The Daily Tribune News that all five people — four females and one male — appear to be from the same family. An official cause of death has not yet been determined.
According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, sheriff’s deputies and GBI agents arrived at 1702 Stonehaven Circle at about 4:30 p.m. “in reference to an unknown problem.” Once there, they discovered four females and one male, according to the Coosa Valley News.

“At this time, due to the nature of the investigation, no further information will be released,” Millsap wrote by email.
The bodies are being sent to the GBI crime lab for autopsies to determine the cause of death.
