All Clear Given After Bomb Threat At Cartersville Museum: Police

Police say the Savoy Lane museum was evacuated Friday due to the bomb threat.

CARTERSVILLE — Police say all is safe at the Savoy Auto Museum after a bomb threat Friday.

Officers were dispatched around 9:45 a.m. to the Savoy Lane museum and evacuated the building, Cartersville Police said.

A K9 deputy with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office swept the building and did not find a threat, police said.

"The building was cleared safely, and we thank Cherokee County S.O. for their support," police said in a news release.
