The Georgia Department of Labor’s Dalton Career Center will help Mohawk Industries recruit a number of workers for its manufacturing facility in Chatsworth.
The recruitment will be held Wednesday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dalton Career Center, located at 1406 Chattanooga Ave.
Mohawk will be recruiting experienced superba, twister, and utility machine operators. The jobs are part of a heat-setting process used in the manufacturing of yarn.
Due to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. Applicants are encouraged to bring copies of their resume.
Salaries are based on the type of job and the experience of the applicants.
The company will conduct a drug-screening test and a background check on selected applicants.
