Armed Men Try To Break Into Cartersville Home
The resident said the two men retreated when he placed the barrel of his shotgun against his living room window.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A Bartow County man said two men armed with firearms tried to break into his home late Monday. A deputy with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a home on Road 3 South around 9:47 p.m. Oct. 22 and met with the resident.
The male said two men wearing "skull faced shields" tried to break into the house, the report said. He was alerted to the attempted burglary when he heard a thumping noise and his dogs barking in response to the commotion, the report states.
He went to the window and saw the unknown men — each holding a pistol — standing outside his door. When he saw their firearms, the resident said he ran to his bedroom and "grabbed his shotgun."
