Students will have a chance to visit several colleges in Georgia in January through this program.

BARTOW COUNTY, GA — Bartow County Schools' first-ever Winter College Tour is nearing, and the deadline to register is fast approaching.

Students will get a chance to visit the University of Georgia, Georgia College and State University, Valdosta State and Columbus State, the school system said in a Facebook post.

"If you're an interested junior, please grab a college-bound friend, and see your school counselor for a registration packet," the post says.

The deadline to register is Dec. 6 for the tour, which will be on Jan. 23 and 24.

The trip cost is $160, which includes charter bus transportation, all meals and lodging.

A $40 deposit is required to secure a seat on the bus.
