Bartow Schools Employees To Receive Bonus In Friday Paycheck
Bartow Superintendent Phillip Page thanked employees for keeping schools open and the school board for making the one-time bonuses possible.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Bartow County Schools employees will find a little something extra in their paychecks Friday: a bonus of $750 for most employees.
Superintendent Phillip Page announced via social media Tuesday that employees hired before Oct. 1 would receive the one-time $750 bonus. Those hired after Oct. 1 would receive half that, $375.
“I am very thankful for this support from our school board,” Page wrote. “Even with the uncertainty of our 2020-2021 budget, each school board member was committed to supporting our staff with this payment. We are blessed to have our school board members, and I am truly blessed to work with each of you.”
