ID On Body Found In Bartow Landfill Still Pending (UPDATE)
The woman's remains were found Aug. 13 by a sanitation worker, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office previously said.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Bartow County coroner has confirmed to Patch that no formal identification on the woman whose dismembered remains were found last month in a landfill has been made. Joel Guyton told Patch that authorities are still waiting on dental records to confirm the woman's identity.
Bartow County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said detectives are still working with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Medical Examiner's Office to get the information needed to identify the victim.
However, Fox 5 Atlanta is reporting that Guyton confirmed that the victim is a woman reported missing from West Virginia. The remains, which were cut into pieces and placed in bags, were left inside a container for a trash compactor at the site. They were found around 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13 by a Bartow County sanitation worker, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office previously said.
