Cartersville 2019 Turkey Trot Certified 5K Course
The event's proceeds will go to United Way of Bartow County.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Runners from around the county are preparing for the 2019 Turkey Trot to benefit United Way of Bartow County. The race will kick off at Sam Smith Park.
The race is Saturday, Nov. 23, and registration begins at 8 a.m. Runners will kick off at 9 a.m.
"Come enjoy this fast, scenic route encircling Cartersville's Sam Smith Park," the Turkey Trot's website says, adding it's a certified 5K course and can be used as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Pre-registration ended on Veterans' Day and there's no more online registration, but day-of registration only costs $35.
Sam Smith Park is at 1155 Douthit Ferry Rd.
