Cartersville Crime: Meth, Pot, Battery, False Imprisonment​

Possession of meth and pot, as well as battery and false imprisonment were some arrests reported by Cartersville Police this week.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the city. Arrests do not equal convictions.

  • A 35-year-old man was arrested on charges of contempt of court, failure to appear, April 4.
  • A 39-year-old man was arrested on charges of fugitive from justice, battery, receipt, possession or transfer of firearm by convicted felon or felony first offender and false imprisonment, April 8.
  • A 31-year-old man was arrested on charges of failure to appear-misdemeanor, April 2.
  • A 29-year-old man was arrested on charges of marijuana-possess less than 1 oz., possession and use of drug related objects, ingestion marijuana possession by ingestion and ingestion- meth possession of meth-ingestion, April 3.
