2 Charged After Cartersville Shooting Injures Person: PD
Two suspects were arrested in connection with a Lee Street shooting and are in custody at the Bartow County Jail, police said.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Two people are facing charges in connection with a Lee Street shooting that injured a person Tuesday, Cartersville Police said Thursday.
The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m, police said. When officers first arrived at the scene, they saw spent shell casings from various guns but did not find anyone who had been shot, police said.
Shortly afterwards, police said a person who had been shot at Lee arrived by private vehicle to Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. The status of the person is unknown.

Police said Ronald Michelle Osburn Jr., 34, was arrested Wednesday and charged on suspicion of aggravated assault with a firearm. Additionally, police said MaKayla Ann Tanner, 23, was arrested and charged on suspicion of hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal.
They are both in custody and awaiting a bond hearing at the Bartow County Jail, police said. A motive in the shooting is unknown.
