Cartersville Urgent Care Could Open In February 2019

Cartersville Medical Center held a groundbreaking ceremony last week for its new facility next to Kroger on Main Street Market Place.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Cartersville Medical Center last week held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new urgent care center in Bartow County.

Cartersville Urgent Care, the hospital said, will be the first medical facility in Northwest Georgia to have full accreditation by the Urgent Care Association of America. The ceremony was held at 10 Main Street Market Place, on the parcel between Starbucks and Kroger along Main Street.

Completion and opening is scheduled for February 2019, and hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Cartersville Medical Center recognizes the need in our community for urgent care services for injuries and illness that aren't life threatening, but need attention, sometimes after hours. With this in mind, the new urgent care center will have the latest medical equipment, labs and imaging services and is designed for patient comfort.

Services provided include treatment of illness and injury, imaging and lab testing, physicals, vaccines and preventative care. You can also expect to have online scheduling, web check-in, patient portal and online bill pay at your fingertips for convenience.
