Donations, Volunteers Sought For Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter
Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter in Cartersville is seeking donations and volunteers for its Thanksgiving events.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter in Cartersville is seeking donations and volunteers for its Thanksgiving events. The shelter also needs volunteers who can cook and drop off items on Thanksgiving Day.
The shelter anticipates feeding 75-90 people on Thanksgiving Day, and will need precooked items to be delivered by 10 a.m.
There are also 11 families living in the shelter's transitional housing program who need sponsors to provide a Thanksgiving meal for each of them. Sponsors will need to be signed up by Nov. 19, with drop off dates on Nov. 22-23.
