Euharlee Teen a Finalist in National Video Contest
Matthew Pryor needs your votes to win a document camera for his school and $500 cash.

A Bartow County teen needs your votes—in the form of clicks.
Matthew Pryor, 15, of Euharlee, a Georgia Virtual School student who will be entering the 10th grade, is a Top 10 Finalist in the 2013 winter/spring Samsung Superhero video competition.
"Matthew has been a videographer since the the age of two and jumped at the chance to have a video in this contest," mother Beth Pryor told Patch. "We were over the moon when he was chosen as one of the 10 finalists."

The Samsung Superhero program is part of Samsung's "Return of Intelligence" gift programs, which aim to boost the skills and intelligence of students across the country, and one way Samsung invests in young minds to help them grow and learn using today’s digital technology, according to its website.
Matthew's portrayal of Isaac Newton beat out hundreds of other videos portraying someone historical in nature in the contest that's offered each spring, winter and fall to kids in kindergarten to 12th grades across the country, Beth Pryor said.

The winner—the video with the most votes—wins a document camera for his school and $500 cash, which would upgrade Matthew's own camera.
