Etowah Valley Humane Society's eighth-annual Hoggs for Dogs ride benefits the adoption of dogs and cats boarded at the Cartersville shelter.
Set for April 27, or 28, if it rains, the motorcycle poker run leaves Harley-Davidson in Cartersville, follows a scenic route through northwest Georgia and ends at Hooters in Cartersville.
The cost is $25, and the first 20 riders get a free T-shirt. Cash prizes also are up for grabs.
