Local Young Marines to Host 2nd Annual Community SpringFest

The Etowah Valley Young Marines will host its second-annual Community SpringFest, the purpose of which is to promote a family friendly venue for local vendors to promote their goods, be it swap meet items, hand-crafted goods, services, independent distributors, small businesses, and causes.

"With a turnout of vendors of all types and something for everyone last year, the organization hopes this year to grow festival and offer an event that the community looks forward to annually" said Adrienne Massingill, events coordinator.

This year, a "Best Booth" contest will give vendors a chance to win their booth fee back. All they have to do is pass out business cards, ask them to drop the card in the "Favorite Tent Bucket" located in the Young Marine’s info tent and at the end of the day; the cards will be counted and returned to the vendors, the vendor with the most cards wins a gift card valued at the booth rental fee.
