Red Top Mountain State Park will host a demonstration of a miniature iron furnace, harking back to the days of iron production in the Allatoona Community.
Beginning at 2 p.m., participants may purchase a scratch block mold, then watch as the Red Top Furnace Crew fires up its blast furnace and pours molten iron into the designs.
When cooled, participants have a unique piece of iron art to take home.
