'Major Crash' Causes 10-Mile Backup In Bartow Co.: 511GA
Traffic was backed up from Folson Road to near Cassville-White Road.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Drivers are asked to take alternative routes after a major crash on Interstate 75 north near Folson Road caused a 10-mile backup Friday, according to the state transportation alert system, 511GA.
The crash happened near Exit 305. All lanes have since reopened on I-75. Transportation officials said traffic is backed up to near Exit 296, Cassville-White Road.
Patch is working to learn the details of the crash, which were not immediately available around noon Friday.
