Man Damaged And Threw Sauce Packet At Woman's Car: Police
A police report says a verbal dispute over cutting in a drive through lane turned into an arrest over damage to property.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — A verbal dispute at Martin's in the 1200 block of West Avenue resulted in some damage to a car, a sauce packet used as a projectile and an arrest, according to Cartersville police. It was Saturday, Feb. 23, soon after 10 a.m. when police were called.
The officer said the victim claimed a man damaged her vehicle and was leaving. Police caught up with the man, Tyler Williams, whom the victim claims tried to cut in line.
She alleged that she yelled at Williams for cutting before he threw a packet of sauce on her car. She got out of her car to check for damage before Williams approached her and hit her driver side mirror, damaging it, she claimed.

Williams had a different story. He said the supposed victim had attempted to cut in line when he got out to yell at her that the line started in the back, he claimed. He then tried to throw a packet of sauce at her car, but hit his own car instead. He then left, he told police.
"Sauce was observed on Ms. Allen's vehicle, along with damage to her mirror," police said.
