• Arkansas signs Memphis defensive back out of transfer portal (on3.com subscription) — A hometown connection is heading to the SEC, as Cartersville native and Cass High School alum Ian Williams is transferring from Memphis to play defensive back at Arkansas. The three-star safety appeared in 13 games last season and will bring three years of eligibility to his new program after following coach Ryan Silverfield from Memphis.
