Thanksgiving 2019: What's Closed In Cartersville

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Most government offices and lots of businesses will be closing this week in Bartow County as we observe Thanksgiving.

Here's a rundown of what's open and what's closed in Bartow for Thanksgiving 2019:

• All Bartow County government offices, except law enforcement and others required for citizen comfort and safety, will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29. County offices will resume normal operations on Monday.
• Cartersville City and Bartow County schools are on holiday Monday through Friday.
• Bartow County Public Library branches will be closed Thursday, and check for openings on Friday.
• Georgia state offices, including driver's services, will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed Thursday.
• City offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• There will be no trash pickup for city of Cartersville customers on Thanksgiving or Black Friday.
