Art @ Work Program gets Started on July 9th

The Summer Session Art at Work program will take place July 9 – August 3.

Artists age 14-16 begin the Summer Session of the Art@Work Program on Monday at the West End Performing Arts Center.

Art at work is an impact driven job readiness program that uses art as a vehicle to teach 21st century employment skills to under-served teens in Fulton County. Emphasizing critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration, the program uses theater, visual arts, creative writing and dance to prepare them for a positive future.

All the participating students had to submit examples of their art and letters of recommendation to be accepted into the program.
