Grant Money Available for Local Artists

The City of Atlanta's Office of Cultural Affairs has just released the 2012 application and guidelines for their upcoming arts contracts.

Project support is available for Individual Artists, Arts Organizations and Community Organizations planning to complete artistic work in the City of Atlanta between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.

The Contracts for Arts Services Program awards contracts related to the production, creation, presentation, exhibition and managerial support of artistic and cultural services in the City of Atlanta.

Our mission is to promote rich and diverse cultural experiences in the City of Atlanta while preserving and protecting the city’s cultural heritage.

Program guidelines and application forms will be available at www.ocaatlanta.com by June 30, 2012.

Application workshops for first-time applicants will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 (6-8pm) for individual artists and Tuesday, July 31, 2012 (9-11am) for arts organizations. Visit www.ocaatlanta.com for workshop locations.
