He Say, She Say: Police Investigating Possible Rape and Kidnap from Frederick Douglass High
Police are currently investigating reports of a girl being taken from school and raped.

No charges have been filed in the case that involved 1 young woman reportedly being kidnapped and raped by males who picked her up at Frederick Douglass High School.
According to the details in the Atlanta Police Department briefing, there has yet to be released evidence that the males raped nor kidnapped her.Β Video footage from outside of Frederick Douglass High School shows the female talking to 3 males in a car and the female entering the car seemingly willingly and untouched by the males.
The female later called her mom from a Stone Mountain gas station to tell her about the incident. The police looked for and found the suspects, but still have decided not to make any charges at this point.

Shortly after 1 pm today, school detective units responded to a possible kidnapping and rape at Douglass High School, located at 225 Hamilton E. Holmes Dr. NW. Β Investigator P. Towns with the School Detective Unit was on scene and was handling the incident.
The mother of the 16 year old was on campus and stated that her daughter called her and stated that she had been kidnapped. Β The victim stated that she was in Stone Mountain near a Chevron gas station. Β It was later determined that the address of the Chevron Station was on Stone Mountain Lithonia Blvd.
Dekalb County Police were on scene and reported that the victim was okay.
Sgt. Micah Connor and Investigator P. Towns responded to the location and spoke to Officer Snead Unit 431 and Investigator J. Robinson with Dekalb SVU.
The victim was able to give a description of the three male assailants, a vehicle description, a license plate number Β and a house description.
Investigators from Dekalb located the house which corresponded to the license plate number and the victim was able to identify it as the place where she was raped.
Dekalb Investigators obtained a search warrant and went to the house to serve the warrant.
Investigator Towns and Sgt. Connor returned to Atlanta and attempted to view the video at the school in an effort to locate the suspect vehicle and the kidnapping.
On Camera #100 at Douglass High School they were able to locate the victim talking to the suspects. Officers observed on video the victim talking to the suspects for several minutes then get into their vehicle without force and without anyone of the males ever touching her. One Β male subject got out of the front passenger seat and opened the door for the victim, allowed her to enter the car, and then closed the door for her. Β The subject then entered the car and the vehicle left the area.
At this time no charges have been filed and investigators are still looking into this case.
The video footage will not be released due to the age of the juvenile.
