Metro Atlanta Krogers Rounding Up Support for Troops
From June 29 β July 12, all stores throughout Kroger's Atlanta Division will encourage customers to "Round Up" their bill to the nearest dollar to support American troops and their families.
Nearly 77 percent of shoppers said they would financially assist our nationβs troops and their families if they were offered a simple, inexpensive option to do so. Krogerβs Atlanta Division is giving its customers that opportunity by expanding its partnership with the United Service Organization, more commonly known as the USO.
From June 29 β July 12, all stores throughout Krogerβs Atlanta Division, which includes over 184 stores covering Georgia, Eastern Alabama and South Carolina, will encourage customers to βRound Upβ their bill to the nearest dollar.Β
In doing so, shoppers will help provide financial assistance to support the brave service men, women and their families in our communities. For example, if a customer spends $99.07 on groceries, she can βRound Upβ her bill to $100. Those 93 cents will be donated to the USO and our military heroes.
By donating a small amount of change, Kroger customers can collectively make a big difference. Last year, Krogerβs Atlanta Division customers united to raise more than $192,000 during the βRound-Upβ campaign. And this year, the goal is to raiseΒ $200,000.
