Deputy Writes 100 (And Counting) Tickets For Passing School Buses
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is celebrating a milestone that more than a few motorists would probably rather forget. As the school year begins to wind down, Deputy John Hiott recently wrote his 100th ticket for passing a stopped school bus.
"Thank you, Deputy Hiott for making our children safer!" the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post. For the past few years, the post says, the sheriff's office has made a concerted effort to crack down on people passing school buses. >>> Read more.

Atlanta has been ranked as the 5th best summer travel destination in the U.S. by WalletHub, a personal finance website.
Las Vegas came in at No. 1, followed by Salt Lake City, Orlando and Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, in the website's list of 2016's Best Summer Travel Destinations.
