Forsyth County Primary Election 2022: Unofficial Results In

CUMMING, GA — Election Day is over in Forsyth County, and voters have cast their ballots in the 2022 primary election.

This year, Forsyth County voters decided on county commissioners in districts 1 and 3; school board members in districts 1 and 5; solicitor general; judge of state court of Forsyth County; state Senate districts 27 and 48; state House districts 11, 24, 25, 26, 28, and 100; U.S. Senate; and U.S. House of Representatives district 6.

As of 11:52 p.m. on Tuesday, all Forsyth County precincts had complete reported results.

Republican Kerry Hill took the lead for Commission District 1.

For the Board of Education District 1, incumbent Republican Wes McCall will face Democrat Janna Kregoski.

Republican Mike Valdes had a slim lead for Board of Education District 5, and will face Democrat Elaine Padgett.

The ballot also included statewide elections, such as governor, secretary of state, attorney general, agriculture commissioner, insurance commissioner, state school superintendent and labor commissioner.
