1 Dead, 8 Injured After I-20 Crash In DeKalb County: Police
An SUV crashed and rolled down an embankment on I-20 West near Wesley Chapel Road.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — One person died and multiple people were injured Tuesday morning when an SUV driving on I-20 crashed and rolled down an embankment, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.
Investigators said they believe the crash happened a little after 4 a.m. when the driver lost control on I-20 West near Wesley Chapel Road. There were nine people in the SUV, police said. One person died, another is in critical condition and the others were treated for minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
