Man Who Witnessed A Couple Fighting At A Gas Station, Shot, Killed After Helping Woman

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A man accused of killing another man in front of a DeKalb County gas station Wednesday morning is wanted by police, according to multiple reports.

The shooting happened after 2 a.m. at a Chevron gas station on the 2400 block of Candler Road, WAGA-TV reported. Investigators told the news station that two customers got into an argument that escalated. One man shot the other at least twice. The victim was in his 40s.

According to WSB-TV, the victim saw a couple arguing and tried to intervene. Investigators told the news station it’s possible the victim saw the man hit the woman.

The couple drove away in a white car. No other information is available at this time.
