2 Arrested In Connection With 3 Armed Robberies: Sheriff
Two Douglasville residents have been arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies in October and December 2021.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Two people, both from Douglasville, have been arrested and charged with armed robbery in connection with a string of robberies from fall 2021, the Douglas County Sentinel reported.
Doroteo Pratt, 36, and Aisha McGowan, 44, both face charges of armed robbery. Pratt also faces charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
According to arrest warrants obtained by the Sentinel, the robberies occurred in October and December 2021. Pratt is accused of robbing the Dollar General on Annewakee Road and stealing cough drops, cigarettes and cash after holding the cashier at gunpoint.

Police say McGowan was the getaway driver and acted as lookout while the robbery occurred. Three hours later, the duo is accused of robbing a Walgreens on Chapel Hill Road, roughly two miles away.
Then on Dec. 22 around 8:50 p.m., Pratt is accused of armed robbery at the Dollar General on Riley Road, stealing laundry detergent, cigarettes and money from the cash register.

Pratt and McGowan were arrested Jan. 12 and are being held without bond, jail records show. The two have the same home address, but their relationship is not clear.
