2 Men, Including 1 From Douglasville, Indicted On Child Molestation Charges

Two men, including one from Douglasville, were indicted on child molestation charges in two separate cases in Douglas County.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Two men were indicted last week on child molestation charges in two separate Douglas County cases, the Douglas County Sentinel reported.

Hector Santos, 22, of Douglasville, and Abraham Hardy, 39, of York, South Carolina, were indicted Friday. Santos is accused of standing over a child under the age of 16 while she was asleep and touching himself, according to an arrest warrant obtained by the Sentinel.

Santos was arrested Oct. 15, 2021 and has remained in jail since then, according to jail records. He was denied bond Oct. 18.

Hardy was arrested Jan. 22, 2020 and charged with seven counts of child molestation, four counts of aggravated sexual battery and one charge of enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to jail records. Hardy was released on a $50,900 bond May 14, 2020.
