Agency To Provide Heating Assistance To Douglas County Seniors
Tallatoona CAP, Inc. is accepting appointments for a heating assistance program for senior households 65 and older and those homebound.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA- Tallatoona CAP, Inc. is accepting appointments for the heating assistance program for senior households 65 and older and homebound households.
Skip the wait and skip the lines by scheduling an appointment today. At the time of your appointment, Tallatoona is asking each applicant to bring the following documentation: driver’s license or state issued photo ID and all household members 60 years of age and older, original social security cards for everyone living in the home, proof of citizenship, most current heating bill, and proof of income for the last 30 days for everyone 18 years or older living in the home. Also, if there is someone 18 or older living in the home that has zero income, they must attend the appointment.
Tallatoona CAP, Inc. is dedicated to helping families take their lead. The private nonprofit Community Action Agency currently serves the Bartow, Cobb, Douglas, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Paulding, and Polk counties. Their mission is to assist low-income individuals and families to acquire useful skills and knowledge, to gain new opportunities and to achieve self-sufficiency. The general public can schedule an appointment via the website or by calling appointment line beginning on December 1, 2018.
