- A new CBD vending machine is coming to Douglasville's Arbor Place Mall. Genesis Boutique & CBD will be teaming up with Green Box Robotics to make CBD products accessible and easy to find by bringing them to one of the town's biggest shopping hubs. The products are meant to provide customers with lower anxiety, healthier sleep habits, and soothe pain in the body. (Vending Market Watch)
- Douglas County and Georgia’s Own Credit Union will host their 20th Annual September Saturdays Festival on Sep. 17 and 24. The festival is a free event on both days, with a variety of fun activities and vendors to keep everyone entertained. The first Saturday is Heroes Day which recognizes local heroes and law enforcement, and the second Saturday is Family Fun themed, which recognizes everyone in the Douglas County community. - This Saturday, Jul. 30, will kick off the new Douglas County Agri-trail! Douglas County Travel & Tourism will be holding the event to showcase how many places in the Douglasville area are supporting and promoting growing food locally.
