  1. The City of Douglasville will host a family wellness walk on Saturday, Nov. 19. The event encourages family health and wellness and prizes will be awarded to families or individuals who complete the most steps. The event is free, but those interested must register here. The walk will start at 10 a.m. at Hunter Park. (City of Douglasville via Twitter)
  2. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office alerts residents that Harold Dakers, 34, is wanted in relation to a murder which occurred in Douglas County on November 4. He was last seen in the Villa Rica, Georgia area. He is 5'5", 150 lbs, and has black hair and brown eyes. Police encourage anyone with information to contact them.   3. Today, Nov. 7, the City of Douglasville hosts a Topping Out Celebration at the Town Green. Light refreshments will be served at the Douglasville Conference Center.
