Cultural Arts Center Gets Lighting Upgrade, Changes Abound

Douglas County's Cultural Arts Center gets a lighting upgrade and a new look across the board.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County is getting a new look across the board. New events are taking off like “Cheers to the Arts” beer tasting in September; a new logo will be released in August, a new public art initiative is underway, along with many other great plans. The gallery also received a face-lift receiving new lighting throughout the building. LED lighting was installed throughout the Gallery by local business, K-Mac Electric which will reduce its carbon emissions, increase efficiency, and improve the quality of light in the gallery.

Executive Director, Emily Lightner said “Lighting plays an integral role in the exhibits and has been a much needed upgrade for many years. All of this has been made possible thanks to our donors: Philip Montgomery, Douglas County Art Guild, an anonymous donor, K-Mac Electric, and our raffle participants.”

The Cultural Arts Council invites everyone to their next programs listed below to view the stunning new lighting.
