  1. Douglas County Animal Services (DCAS) was granted $10,000 by the Georgia Department of Agriculture to help with the "Spay/Neuter Program" cost. The grant only goes to spaying and neutering animals in the shelter before adoption. (Douglasville Patch)

  5. Douglas County Sheriff's Office's Citizens Law Enforcement Academy (C.L.E.A.) class registration is now open. The class provides training and education while giving insight into the duties and responsibilities of the deputies.
