Douglas County Sheriff's Office news releaseOn Saturday November 14, 2015 at approximately 2:20pm the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a person being shot at 2522 Winding Creek Drive in Lithia Springs, GA. A male subject (Shawn A. Clark date of birth 08/19/86) had brought a female subject to the residence to retrieve her children and personal belongings. While in front of the residence a male victim (Antonio Ellison date of birth 12/05/87) exchanged words in a verbal argument with the subject Clark in the vehicle that turned into a physical altercation between the two. During the physical altercation subject Clark produced a handgun and fatally shot the male victim Ellison and left the scene of the incident. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office/Douglasville Police Department's Major Case Unit through interviewing witnesses at the scene was able to identify the male suspect as Shawn A. Clark.Subject Clark was arrested at approximately 10:30pm at a location in Union City, GA and is incarcerated at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Adult Detention Center charged with Murder. -- Lt.
