DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- The Douglas County Tag office is partnering with the Georgia Department of Revenue to upgrade their systems to the new Driver Record and Integrated Vehicle Enterprise System in May. This system upgrade is a new state-of-the-art vehicle registration and titling system that will bring faster and more efficient service and more self-service options.

Please be aware that the Douglas County Tag offices’ business hours will see some changes during the upgrade week. On Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24 the Tag office will be closed for the upgrade to take place. The Tag office kiosk inside the Kroger on Hospital Drive as well as online renewals will not be available as the systems upgrade is taking place. Normal business hours in the Tag Office will resume on Tuesday, May 28. The Tax office will remain open for normal business hours on those days.

To avoid delays the Tag Office Manager wants everyone to process their tag renewals and title transactions before the system upgrade week.
