Douglasville Man Accused Of Robbing Woman At Gunpoint For iPhone
Court records show that Michael Lee Davis, 27, of Douglasville, is accused of stealing the iPhone from a woman through the use of a handgun.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA - A Douglasville man has been charged with stealing a woman's iPhone at gunpoint recently.
Court records show that Michael Lee Davis, 27, is accused of stealing the iPhone 8 from a woman through the use of a handgun at an apartment complex on Rocky Ridge Boulevard in Douglasville Jan. 2, according to the Douglas County Sentinel
Police say Davis physically prevented the woman from completing a call to 911, by brandishing a handgun and chasing her out of her apartment before snatching the phone.

Records show that the woman was on the phone with 911 and the call was recorded. Davis was denied bond at a court hearing and remains in custody at the Douglas County Jail.
He is charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of obstructing/harassing 911 calls in connection with the incident.
