- Each quarter, Douglasville Parks and Recreation hosts social events for individuals with disabilities to connect families and build a "community without boundaries." All are welcome to attend the Therapeutic Recreation Bowling Night on Friday, Dec. 9, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Southern Lanes Bowling in Douglasville. - Today, Nov. 14, is the last day to register for Douglasville Parks and Recreation's "Teens Night Out" at the Ike Owings Community Center at Hunter Park, located at 8830 Gurley Road in Douglasville.
